Structure.IT Ltd. (“Structure.IT”/“we”/“us”) is committed to protecting your privacy.

The purpose of this policy is to inform you about how Structure.IT processes your personal data through your use of our website www.structure-it.ca, when you contact is via email or website message, create a profile as well as use our software.

The website and the software are intended for business use and specifically not intended for use my minors. If you are a minor, do not provide information through our website, via profile, nor any other method. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. We will delete information that we learn to have been collected from a minor.

For example, we may receive information about your company, company size, job title, and job level as well as contact information, such as email address or phone number.

3. How we collect data

We collect the data using various methods including information you give us directly by filing out forms, downloading our software and corresponding with us. As you interact with our website we may automatically collect information about your equipment and browsing. We may also collect information from third parties such as our payment processor, analytic providers or publicly available information available through search providers such as Google.

4. How we use your data

The purposes and the legal basis of the treatments are indicated below:

  • Most commonly we use your data to perform the contract we have entered into with you; specifically, to license our software to you;
  • We may use your data to provide you with information on upcoming features of our software, or new software. However, you have a choice to unsubscribe to any marketing emails you may receive from us from a mechanism provided to you within those emails;
  • If you have opted out of those emails, we will stop send you marketing emails, however this will general not apply to communications required to provide you with our services;
  • We use your license code and machine ID to verify that you have the right to access our software; and,
  • Cookie are used to track the usage of our website to assist us in analyzing who uses our services and help us improve the content of our website.

We may disclosure your information with the following parties:

  • Government authorities and regulators;
  • Advisors such as accountants, lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers;
  • IT and system administration services
  • Third parties who may sell or merge our business with; and,
  • Security and software consultants.

We make reasonable efforts to store your data in a secure way. You are also responsible to protect your personal information. You should never give out your password, you should logout of your account and close your browser after using our website.

7. Duration of data conservation

Data is retained for as long as is necessary to fulfil to purpose we collected it for. We take into consideration the sensitivity of the data as well as the risk of harm to yourself when determining the appropriate retention period.

8. Amendment of this policy

We have the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. If we change this Privacy Policy, the changes will become effective 30 days from their posting on the website. The Privacy Policy applies to all Personal Information that we have about you. The date on which the latest update was made is indicated at the top of this document. Your use of the website and services signifies your acceptance of any changes.

In accordance with the Regulations in force, you have the right of access, rectification, opposition and in case of legitimate reasons for deletion, limitation of the processing of your data.
